DESCRIPTION:Community of Purpose \n\n\n\n\n\nLaunched in 2012\, the Bristol Together Championships programme brings together year 5 children from Bristol schools in areas diverse in ethnicity\, race\, class\, faith\, and geography to connect and build friendships across perceived divides. After the tournament\, 30 children from 6 participating schools are selected to represent Bristol in Bordeaux on a four-day trip as part of the cities’ twinning relationship. The 2023 participants will be in Bordeaux in October.

How much would you like organised\, how much free time? \n\n\n\n3 Travel and accommodation.  For many EasyJet flights will be the easiest\, but other options?   Different types of accommodation according to individuals’ budget?

DESCRIPTION:This free exhibition is organised by the Institut français du Royaume-Uni\, with the support of the FrenchEmbassy in the UK\, and in partnership with the UK’s National Archives and the French DiplomaticArchives and Bristol City Hall. It is part of a series of major celebratory events and new projects commemorating the signing ofthe 1904 agreements between the UK and French governments\, which improved bilateral relations.The exhibition traces the history of the Entente Cordiale agreements and their global repercussions.Visitors will discover remarkable documents (archives\, cartoons etc.) which will immerse them in the BelleÉpoque and the diplomatic negotiations which aimed at building peace between the two countries.The exhibition has been curated by Dr Charlotte Faucher (University of Bristol) and Dr Guillaume Perissol(Institut français du Royaume-Uni).
